NVIDIA is a computing platform company operating at the intersection of graphics, HPC, and AI. They are seeking a Cloud Platform Engineering Intern to work on NVIDIA’s Unified Commerce Platform, focusing on backend development and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, deploy, test and maintain applications and services that impact NVIDIA’s business with an emphasis on subscriptions and pricing
Focus on designing and coding architecture that yields significant performance, availability, and business value
Collaborate with other engineers within the team on the shared stack of collection of services. Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production UCP services
Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand business requirements and align software direction to meet those needs.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or similar program
Deep experience in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Go, Python, and proficiency in object-oriented design and programming.
Experience with cloud technologies like AWS, as well as one or more of the following: Micro-services, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
Background with Databases like MySQL, Amazon Aurora, Redis, Cassandra.
Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and design patterns.
