They are currently seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Cloud/Mobile Developer Intern to join their team, where the intern will participate in system architecture design and software development for mobile applications.
Responsibilities
Participate in the system architecture design
Systems engineering
Development
Integration testing and validation
All aspects of the software life-cycle (requirements to design to implementation to test) of a mobile application with backend web services
Developing and testing Java code as dictated by project requirement
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening
Must be local to the Greater Washington Area
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if offered a position upon graduation, permanent opportunity after completion of the internship.
Citizenship - Must be a US Citizen
Location - Hybrid (Kingstowne, VA) up to 2 days per week on-site
Experience with some of the following technologies Java, Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS.
Experience with some of the following frameworks React, NextJS, React Native, Android SDK, iOS SDK.
Experience with some of the following relational databases MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong writing and presentation skills
Preferred
Experience with Amazon AWS environment is a plus.
Experience with OpenAI developer platform is a plus.
Any familiarity with AI/ML is a plus.
