The Business Systems & AI Solutions Intern will support proposal development by enhancing and integrating tools, streamlining workflows, and leveraging AI across the proposal lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Enhance and integrate proposal tools using Microsoft Excel, automation and AI
Streamline the program specific Basis of Estimate template to better align with corporate BOE
Maintain and enhance internally developed tools in Microsoft Excel
Develop or support tools that analyze historical BOE data to identify similar or analogous tasks
Support development of concepts of operations (CONOPS) and associated processes
Conduct targeted research on technical services to support solution development
Work with pricing, engineering, contracts, and capture teams to ensure proposed solutions are executable and deliverable
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and macros
Experience with JavaScript, Visual Basic/VBA, and/or Python
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task, self-assign work, and operate in a fast-paced proposal environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Candidates must be US citizens able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
Preferred
Experience with BOE development, proposal pricing, or government contracting environments
Experience applying AI or generative AI tools to business or analytical problems
Familiarity with Salesforce, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar platforms
Experience working with automation tools, data repositories, or legacy systems
Ability to remain upbeat, positive, and constructive under high-pressure deadlines
