Textron is a global company with a diverse portfolio of brands across multiple industries. The 2027 Software Engineer Intern will gain hands-on experience developing, testing, documenting, and supporting software solutions while working with senior engineers and participating in agile projects.
Responsibilities
Work with senior software engineers to develop, design, configure, test, and document software solutions based on product manager requirements
Assist members of the ENG department in both daily activities and special projects to learn and gain experiences related to the function and its role in achieving business objectives
Work within defined project timelines to complete tasks according to project schedule
Follow agile processes in compliance with TSV’s Agile methodology and participate in daily scrum meetings, and sprint retrospectives
Gather statistics and prepare reports on the status of projects for discussion with management and team members
Determine, develop, and maintain user manuals and guidelines
Gain exposure to the business needs by developing and implementing processes and new technologies+
Qualification
Required
Education: Pursing Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field required
Software Knowledge: Experience or knowledge of specific technologies or languages such as Java, C#, C/C++, SQL, HTML, JavaScript
