GCM Grosvenor is a growing alternative investments firm where technology is central to enabling data-driven decision-making. The Software Engineering Intern will join the Technology team, contributing to the development of applications and solutions used across the firm while gaining hands-on experience with modern engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Join one of our product-oriented software engineering teams for the summer. You will work closely with team members and leaders on engineering projects
Create an approach and then design and execute on project deliverables
Participate in all team Agile ceremonies
Leverage hands on experience with technology and learned practical approaches to solve real-world business problems
Create solutions the team will use beyond the internship period
The summer will culminate with an intern presentation showcasing what the intern created and learned throughout the internship program
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (grad date: Dec 2027 – Spring 2028)
Minimum GPA: 3.5
Comfortable with object-oriented programming (C#, Python, C++, or Java)
Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
Exposure to web development (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, etc.)
Familiar with Agile development, cloud technologies, and the software development lifecycle
Preferred
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
Experience with modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
Familiarity with automated testing tools (JUnit, Selenium, etc.)
