They are seeking a Software Engineer Intern who is currently enrolled in a bachelor's program, focusing on software development and participating in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for complex systems and applications
Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment
Functional analysis of real world and test data
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
Ensure technical correctness, timeliness and quality of deliverables
Work alongside other members of the software team to analyze and develop software verification test cases and procedures
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills to provide input to presentations to non-technical participants
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Experience developing GUI software using Java
Software development lifecycle experience using an Agile methodology
Experience with tools such as Confluence, Eclipse, Jira, Jenkins, Junit and Rational Team Concert
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written, with technical, customer and senior leadership audiences
Self-motivated
Proven ability and desire to facilitate knowledge transfer
Experience in software development
Proven ability to develop technical solutions to complex issues
Familiarity with MS Office
GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale
