Manulife John Hancock is an international financial services provider offering an internship program focused on developing early-career talent. The Winter Co-op intern will support product documentation, change management, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, process improvement, communications, and project initiatives across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Catalogue and maintain product specifications and documentation repositories
  • Develop and update standardized templates to improve consistency and quality across product documentation
  • Support business and technical stakeholders in gathering and documenting requirements
  • Assist with documentation governance, version control, and maintenance of product materials
  • Help identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and usability
  • Support the development and maintenance of change management tools, templates, and resources
  • Assist with stakeholder engagement activities, working sessions, and feedback collection
  • Prepare communications, presentations, reporting materials, and change management artifacts
  • Support knowledge management activities, including SharePoint content organization and maintenance
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, consistency, and user experience

Qualification

Required

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Human Resources, Information Management, Project Management, Organizational Change, Technology, or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of stakeholders and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines

Preferred

  • Experience creating presentations, reports, templates, process documentation, or other business materials
  • Familiarity with SharePoint, Power BI, Copilot, or similar collaboration and reporting tools
  • Demonstrated interest in project management, process improvement, product management, business operations, or change management
