Xylem is a large global water technology provider, enabling customers to transport, treat, test, and efficiently use water. They are seeking a summer Product Management Intern to investigate the status of the existing installation base and develop future business opportunities while working collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities
Work with a cross functional team to understand current status of the existing global installation base of capital equipment with the aim to enhance aftermarket parts and refurbishment opportunities. This will involve coordinating with internal and external sales personnel to identify any existing contacts and status of equipment. Where those contacts do to currently exist, work with internal teams to establish a contact person and equipment status.
Building aftermarket sales opportunity forecast and report to leadership team the 2026 aftermarket opportunity size and recommendations.
Partner with marketing team to leverage advanced business tools to develop customer profiles.
Support current teams in researching emerging markets and developing competitive frameworks for global markets on vapor phase odor control and emergency scrubbing technologies.
Support in development of commercial strategy for new product launch / relaunch.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Ability to work full-time during the summer internship period from May to August 2025.
Willingness to work in a hybrid work schedule at the Sarasota, FL location.
