Summer Intern, Product Management - Ad Experiences

SiriusXM is the leading audio entertainment company in North America, and they are seeking a Product Management Intern for their Ad Experiences team. This role involves shaping advertising delivery across SiriusXM's platforms, collaborating with various teams to support monetization initiatives and evaluate product decisions based on listener behavior and ad performance data.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and evolution of ads across SiriusXM’s owned-and-operated products, contributing to the scaling of ad delivery mechanics to enable measurable impressions across platforms
  • Analyze listener behavior, ad performance data, and experimentation results to inform product decisions related to ad load, format design, and surface readiness
  • Help define product requirements, success metrics, and experiment plans in partnership with the analytics team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Ad Tech, and Operations to assess feasibility, trade-offs, and rollout considerations
  • Conduct competitive research and market analysis to identify emerging ad trends and monetization opportunities
  • Create clear documentation such as PRDs, experiment briefs, user flows, and stakeholder presentations
  • Participate in product reviews, experimentation readouts, and planning discussions, showcasing your work and receiving feedback from experienced product and technology leaders

Qualification

Required

  • You must be 18 years of age or older
  • Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university (those graduating by May 2027 are preferred) and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S

Preferred

  • Previous internship or work experience in consumer Internet or other consumer technology products preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting ideas and recommendations
  • Experience or interest in user research, experimentation, analytics, or interaction design is a plus
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to challenge assumptions and ask thoughtful questions
  • Passion for audio, media, or technology products—and an interest in how advertising supports free and premium experiences
