LPL Financial is a leading independent broker-dealer that provides technology, brokerage, and investment advisor services to financial advisors and institutions. The Product Management Intern will analyze advisor workflows and product adoption, support product delivery and documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product enhancements. The role also involves research, data analysis, testing, and supporting product strategy and roadmap planning.
Responsibilities
Analyze and map advisor workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced user experiences (e.g., client onboarding, account management, portfolio rebalancing)
Evaluate product and feature adoption metrics, uncover insights, and recommend enhancements that improve advisor engagement and efficiency
Create, update, and refine product documentation, user guides, and training materials to support advisor understanding and adoption
Assist with product delivery activities, including backlog refinement, user story development, acceptance criteria creation, and defect triage
Collaborate with product managers, technology teams, designers, and business stakeholders to support product initiatives and ongoing enhancements
Participate in product demos, testing activities, feedback sessions, and continuous improvement efforts
Conduct research and analysis to support product strategy, roadmap planning, and operational decision-making
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), business, finance, economics, or a related field
Available to work from one of LPL Financials' primary office locations

Experience with data visualization, reporting, or analytical tools
Interest in financial services, wealth management, or fintech solutions
