Geotab is a global leader in IoT and connected transportation, seeking a Solutions Delivery Intern to support their Solutions Delivery Managers and cross-functional teams. The intern will gain hands-on experience in project management, assisting with defining project scope, managing timelines, and contributing to product initiatives.
Responsibilities
Support product initiatives throughout the product lifecycle, gaining valuable insights into the journey from conception to release
Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
Contribute to the creation and management of project timelines/schedules, ensuring timely delivery of product milestones
Provide support to complex projects and product initiatives involving coordination with multi-disciplinary teams at Geotab
Assist in facilitating effective communication, aligning visions, and ensuring accountability for required work/deliverables
Assist in coordinating internal team activities and supporting project meetings
Help maintain detailed meeting minutes and follow up on action items
Contribute to establishing and maintaining project deliverables, timelines, and milestone updates for sponsors and key stakeholders
Assist in analyzing project issues and developing solutions
Learn to anticipate potential problems and proactively address them
Assist in gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements for specific products and translating requirements into detailed technical specifications
Participate in post-mortem reviews post-product delivery or as required within the project delivery process
Support project communication and reporting
Assist with project tracking and analysis
Contribute to communicating vital information to the project team and broader product teams
Assist in preparing and presenting regular progress reports to stakeholders and senior management
Engage in establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational capabilities
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering)
A strong interest in project/program management or product ownership within a technology organization
Knowledge or a strong desire to learn about the high-technology industry
Excellent academic record and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly
Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem-solve and make well-judged decisions
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Able to work well under pressure and respond to changing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills
A strong team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization
