As a Product Specialist Intern, you will support the product management team in Motion Drive Products, focusing on HVAC & Water/Wastewater product portfolio. Your role will involve assisting with research, analysis, and various product management tasks.

Working as a Product Specialist Intern for HVAC & Water/Wastewater, you will support the product management team in Motion Drive Products, with local (US) responsibility for the HVAC & Water/Wastewater product portfolio for PG Drive Products, BL Drives.
In this role, you will support the Product Management team with research, analysis, development and implementation of specific projects.
Assigned projects will be involved with one or more of the following Product Management tasks: marketing efforts, competitive knowledge, sales support, product enhancement and development, product planning, process improvement, documentation, product launches.
Responsible for assisting the product manager as assigned in duties required to meet global business unit and department objectives around VFD (Drive) products.
Gain an understanding of the duties and responsibilities of the Product Specialist/Manager positions and career path.
Competitor and market research.
Assist Product Managers with product launches and other tasks.
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies and procedures.
Maintain the highest ethical standards.
Ensure ABB is meeting all laws and policies related to safety and always providing the safest work environment for employees.
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering within the United States.
Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
