Product & Program Management Intern

KION Group, through its subsidiary Dematic Corp., is offering a Product & Program Management Summer Intern position that supports product development initiatives and program execution activities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in warehouse automation technologies while contributing to scheduling, analysis, research, and program coordination activities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist product and program managers with tracking development activities and deliverables
  • Support coordination across engineering, operations, and product teams
  • Contribute to documentation and updates related to product initiatives
  • Help track project schedules, development achievements, and key deliverables
  • Monitor progress and assist in identifying potential schedule risks
  • Support reporting on program status and progress
  • Assist with earned value and schedule tracking to understand program performance
  • Compile and analyze program data to support internal reporting and reviews
  • Conduct market and competitive research related to warehouse automation technologies
  • Summarize insights that support product strategy and development priorities
  • Support analysis of order intake data to identify trends and demand patterns
  • Assist with preparation of reports that help inform product planning and business decisions

Qualification

Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
  • Curiosity about warehouse automation, robotics, or industrial systems
  • Ability to learn the fundamentals of automation systems and major machine components
  • Basic analytical skills and ability to interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams
  • Clear communication and documentation skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced, evolving project environment
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technical concepts
