The Product Manager Spring Co-op will learn and support product strategy, market analysis, product lifecycle management, partnership strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to help bring products to market.
Responsibilities
**Learn Market Analysis:** Observe and learn from market and business analysis to understand product definition, product roadmap, pricing, ecosystem, and channel strategy. You will explore how to analyze competitive landscapes and identify opportunities for innovation
**Assist in Product Lifecycle Management:** Participate in managing the product lifecycle from inception through growth, maturity, and end of life stages. You will engage with cross-functional teams to deliver a successful product with defined routes to market
**Support Partnership Strategy:** Contribute to defining partnership and ecosystem strategy for product execution. You will assist in maximizing internal and external relationships with design, product marketing, ecosystem partners, analysts, engineering, sales, and services teams
**Engage in Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Engage with various teams to deliver a successful product. You will participate in discussions with design, product marketing, ecosystem partners, analysts, engineering, sales, and services teams to ensure effective collaboration
**Explore Industry Expertise:** Learn from experts in the field and explore how to become a credible voice in the market. You will observe and learn from industry trends and best practices to develop your skills
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program at the time of application and returning to complete the degree after the co-op
Available to start full-time between December 2027 and August 2028
Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) at an IBM location for 16 weeks between Jan 19 - May 7
Co-op requires a full-time commitment; students should not be enrolled in concurrent coursework during the co-op term
Understanding of product management principles and user-centered thinking
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or data workflows through coursework or projects
Experience with Agile practices and collaborative work environments
Ability to analyze data and communicate insights clearly
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
