Splunk is a software company that provides operational intelligence software that monitors, reports, and analyzes real-time machine data. The Product Manager Intern will collaborate with engineers and Product Managers to understand user needs and contribute to the development of business analytics software while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Interact with engineers and other Product Managers to understand customer and user needs in-depth.
Write functional specifications, and set criteria for release readiness with regards to the functionality of the solution within the scope of a contained, end-to-end project.
Work under the close supervision of a mentor with weekly check-ins.
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related technical field or an MBA with an established technical foundation.
Applicants should also possess a strong record of academic achievement
At least one semester/quarter remaining to complete after the internship
Available to work 40 hours a week for 15 weeks
