Product Manager Intern (TikTok-Product-Open Platform) - 2025 Summer (BS/MS)

TikTok is a short-video sharing app and social network platform that develops a lip-syncing video application to create videos. They are seeking a Product Manager Intern for the 2025 summer program, where the intern will focus on understanding users, identifying opportunities, and creating innovative user experience solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define clear and precise data metrics to best represent business performance and incorporate data, algorithms, research, and market analysis to shape product design.
  • Dive deep into user needs, and conduct user research & analysis to conceptualize and build delightful experiences on TikTok through continuous iteration and experimentation.
  • Be responsible for product success from end-to-end, including ideation, design, build, test, launch, and measure post-launch.
  • Educate and influence both leaders and a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders to secure buy-in on product strategy and roadmap.

Qualification

Required

  • Clear and effective communication skills, particularly in collaboration with various teams.
  • Strong product-oriented quantitative and statistical analysis skills, communicating results and insights to various partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Empathy for TikTok users and creators, expertly balancing the needs of both to create delightful product experiences.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and needs.
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit, able to deal with rapid changes to imperfect status quo.
  • Have a global vision and have enthusiasm and continuous attention to international products.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in defining clear and precise data metrics to represent business performance, incorporating data, algorithms, research, and market analysis to inform product design.
  • Experience in conducting in-depth user research and analysis, with a demonstrated ability to understand user needs and conceptualize delightful user experiences through continuous iteration and experimentation.
  • Ability to manage product success from end-to-end, including ideation, design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch measurement.
  • Strong capability to educate and influence leaders and a diverse range of cross-functional stakeholders to secure buy-in on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies for data analysis, user research, and product management.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovate in product design and development.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent Collaboration Skills, With Experience Working With Multiple Teams.
