IBM is a technology company whose Infrastructure & Technology organization develops and operates resilient infrastructure systems, including mainframes, hybrid cloud platforms, networking, automation, and site reliability solutions. The Product Manager Intern will support product portfolios, define requirements and user stories, collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market and customer feedback, and assist with IBM Z and LinuxONE projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the broader IBM product organization to help support the portfolio and the business
Become an expert in IBM’s product management methodologies, design thinking, and new product introduction. Support product teams in defining product requirements, user stories, and specifications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and sales) to ensure timely product delivery
Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities
Product Managers navigate customer outcomes, business impacts, and functional trade-offs
You should be a good communicator and will be expected to collaborate well with others across multiple project areas
As a cross-portfolio Product Manager for IBM, you will play a vital role in assisting with projects spanning a broad range of the IBM Z and LinuxONE portfolio
You will help curate insights from interviews with existing and potential customers that flow into the Idea Hub and engage product teams to progress them
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED
Actively enrolled in college/university
Creativity and flexibility to adapt to new scenarios
Strong communication and presentation skills

Bachelor's Degree
Junior / Senior level classes in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Product Management, Business Development, Product Development, and/or Product Design
Experience with customer feedback survey analytics
Familiarity with AI model training
