Tyson Foods is a modern, multi-national, protein-focused food company. They are seeking a Product Management Intern to assist the BU team with various projects related to inventory, product availability, and new product development. The role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
Assisting the BU team on projects related to existing core business such as inventory, product availability, marketing materials, organizing and pulling financial reports, project management, as well as new product development/launches and any other category related activities that may arise, as directed by the product management team
Assist with product quality cuttings and recaps
Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting product/marketing managers in various projects for the category product management team
Qualification
Required
Sophomore level or higher required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this position interacts with all levels of management in different areas of the business.
Proficient in MS Office, (Excel and PowerPoint are very critical in this position).
Must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and able to handle the various projects they are given.
Must be multi-task oriented with stress management skills as well as a team player who is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods.
Students must be within commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.
Preferred
Marketing, Finance, Business Management or Supply Chain majors preferred.
Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
