As a Product Management Intern, you will engage in impactful projects that provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity and product management, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to influence product direction and enhance Illumio's product strategy.
Responsibilities
You will lead projects by analyzing data and exploring security frameworks for hybrid multi-cloud enterprises.
In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience with various frameworks while honing key product management skills, including market analysis, strategic alignment, and defining product requirements.
You will drive product strategies by leveraging industry expertise and best practices to guide development and execution.
Collaborating cross-functionally, you’ll influence product direction, support the product life cycle, and contribute to impactful enhancements.
In this role, you’ll gain valuable product management experience with container security, deepening your understanding of cutting-edge technologies while refining essential skills such as market analysis, strategic alignment, and defining comprehensive product requirements.
You will drive innovative product strategies by applying industry expertise and best practices to guide development, execution, and continuous improvement.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll influence product direction, manage the product life cycle, and play a key role in delivering impactful security solutions that address the evolving needs of containerized environments.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a full-time Master’s in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2025/Spring 2026.
Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
Preferred
Exposure to tools and technologies such as Istio, eBPF, OPA, Kyverno, or similar is a plus.
Familiarity with product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar is a plus.
