They are seeking a Product Management Intern to join their Product Team, where the intern will contribute to delivering high-quality software applications and gain hands-on experience in the tech stack used in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
Partner with Product Managers and Business Analysts to support the soft launch of a new web-based estimating product for construction professionals.
Leverage customer usage analytics, sales feedback, and marketing data to identify friction points and recommend improvements to the product and onboarding experience.
Conduct interviews with estimators and construction professionals to gather real-world feedback and insights that guide product decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Sales, Support, and Marketing to coordinate input and ensure alignment across teams.
Help organize, track, and prioritize enhancement requests based on impact and urgency.
Contribute to the development of internal and external documentation, including training content, onboarding guides, and product release materials.
Research and document product insights, customer pain points, and acceptance criteria for new features.
Monitor product usage trends post-launch and assist in continuous improvement efforts by suggesting updates or feature changes based on data and customer behavior.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and able to commute to our Sugar Land office during your internship.
Interested in or pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills—you enjoy helping others and collaborating across disciplines.
Detail-oriented and analytical, you enjoy solving problems and thinking through the 'why' behind customer behavior.
Eager to gain hands-on experience with real-world software used in the construction industry.
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM tools.
Experience or coursework related to B2B software, SaaS platforms, or product development.
Exposure to or interest in Agile product management practices.
Knowledge of construction workflows, estimating processes, or field operations—especially helpful for shaping onboarding and feature design.
