They are seeking a Product Management Intern to support the DOD Healthcare Management System Modernization (DHMSM) by increasing familiarity with the MHS GENESIS product line and assessing product line health through various activities.
Responsibilities
Increase familiarity with Electronic Health Record (MHS GENESIS) product line capabilities/solutions.
Assess product line health through the status of active projects and other activities and identify and escalate obstacles and issues with potential resolutions, as needed, to the appropriate stakeholders to help inform decisions.
Gather information and perform analysis of tickets, defects, and other critical incidents impacting the different MHS GENESIS product line capabilities/solutions in order to report on status, as well as determine trends that can assist with system improvement recommendations.
Represent LPDH on product line meetings and coordinate activities with the customer stakeholders, including meeting agendas and related follow-up items.
Develop communications for coordination with product line customer stakeholders.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in bachelor’s program as a junior/senior or a master’s program in one of the following: Health Informatics, Public Health with a data/tech concentration, Health Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science/Data Science, Biomedical Informatics, Nursing, with a specialization in nursing informatics
Familiarity with EHR systems and workflows
Project Management, issue tracking/reporting
Experience with Tableau
Clear communication skills, both written and oral
Ability to analyze and synthesize information across solutions and data sources
Critical thinking to determine recommendations and provide solutions to issues/challenges
Ability to engage with multiple teams and customer stakeholders
Ability to execute tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent communication skills and ability to report on taskings
Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word
