Product Management Intern

Ticketmaster is a leader in online ticketing for general admission events. As a Product Management Intern, you will help define the next generation of online ticketing by understanding customer needs and translating them into innovative products, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Determine and prioritize customer and client wants and needs using market and user research techniques
  • Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, Design, Engineering, and Client Support to deepen understanding of customer, client, and team needs/areas of improvement
  • Lead product discovery engagements by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data points to make sure we’re solving the right problem
  • Define and oversee product feature creation, with a focus on MVP development and future iteration planning
  • Be a key contributor to the build phase by ensuring the product meets and exceeds the quality and methodologies that make our product a leader in the space
  • Work and collaborate with your squad to plan spirits, run story acceptance meetings, and monitor progress to move projects forward
  • Measure, analyze, and report on product metrics to help grow, innovate, and improve

Qualification

Required

  • Are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program that requires participation in a co-op/internship placement as part of the curriculum to graduate
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, technical aptitude, and experience with data-driven decision making
  • Skilled at working effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Solid sense of customer empathy and a passion for building quality products
  • Get excited at the thought of taking ownership of something tangible, with the potential to impact tens of thousands of people
  • Business Acumen – You understand and can apply general business concepts, using external networks to understand market situations and industry
  • Passionate – A love for your craft that pushes you to strive for elegance and quality in your work
  • Winning Teamwork – Collaborating with others in a respectful manner and openly sharing information amongst the team to assist in achieving Ticketmaster goals and objectives
  • Inquisitive – A forever student, always seeking to learn and grow with and from your peers

  • A high level of proficiency in English, both verbal and written

Preferred

  • Experience working in ticketing and/or the events industry is a bonus
  • Candidates with a working knowledge of French are also encouraged to apply
