Danfoss engineers solutions that increase machine productivity, lower energy consumption, enable electrification, and reduce emissions. The Product Management Intern will assist the Product Management and Marketing team with product development, marketing material creation, and customer interactions, while also leading smaller projects.
Responsibilities
Support Product Managers with new product development, product launch planning, competitive benchmarking, market research, and product roadmapping.
Represent Product Management on cross-functional Product Maintenance and Improvement (PMI) project teams.
Lead departmental projects such as process automation and tools development.
Create and maintain technical and marketing product literature such as brochures, product guides, and PowerPoint presentations.
Support internal promotional campaigns for Danfoss events and accomplishments by assisting in planning and coordination, creation promotional material, and hosting events.
Support and lead a variety of tasks and activities assigned to the Product Management team.
Qualification
Required
Availability to work 20 hours / week during business hours during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Available to work up to 40 hours / week during business hours in the summer.
Experience with MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.
Experience with creating and editing video content for social media promotion.
Ideal candidate will be a currently enrolled student seeking a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or in an alternative discipline with high technical acumen.
Preferred
Experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
Preference is given to candidates that can work year-round and for a minimum of three semesters.
