The Product Intern will assist in feature development support, market analysis, and product analytics for clinical trial software, contributing to the enhancement of user experience for clinical research partners.
Responsibilities
Assist Product Managers in defining requirements, gathering user stories, and creating acceptance criteria for new features or enhancements within eTMF (Electronic Trial Master File) and Site Cloud products
Research the clinical research technology landscape to identify trends, competitive offerings, and opportunities for innovation that can enhance the user experience for clinical research partners
Analyze product usage data and user feedback to identify pain points, measure the success of launched features, and provide data-driven recommendations for future product improvements
Serve as a liaison between the engineering, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure product requirements are clearly understood and features are implemented as intended
Develop and maintain internal product documentation, feature guides, and training materials to support product launches and enable sales, marketing, and support teams
Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders and clinical research partners to gather input, present feature mock-ups, and communicate product updates
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
Fields of Study: Computer Science, Business, Health Informatics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
Basic understanding of the product development lifecycle (e.g., agile methodologies)
Familiarity with analyzing data, particularly for identifying trends or user behavior
No minimum years of professional experience required, but previous internship, project, or coursework experience demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills is preferred
Preferred
Previous experience or coursework related to the healthcare technology (HealthTech) or clinical research industry
Familiarity with clinical trial documentation (e.g., TMF/eTMF) or site operations
Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) or data analysis software (e.g., SQL, Google Analytics)
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
