Gallagher Bassett is dedicated to helping clients navigate complexity and support recovery. They are seeking a motivated Product Analyst Intern to join their Product Innovation Team, focusing on data-driven insights to enhance products and improve user experiences.
Responsibilities
Product Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor key product metrics, such as user acquisition, retention, conversion rates, and revenue. Identify areas for improvement and use data to inform product strategy
User Experience: Gather user feedback and analyze results to gain insights into the overall user experience and behaviors. Utilize this data to optimize product experience and drive user engagement
Data Analysis: Perform general analytics and basic statistical modeling on existing data sets. Define data requirements, oversee data collection, processing, cleaning, analysis, modeling, and visualization
Data Storytelling: Examine and identify data patterns and trends to answer business questions and support product ideation. Present findings in a clear and impactful way to influence decision-making
Data Visualization: Partner with our Business Intelligence team to craft compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate key product metrics and trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your efforts will enable the business to measure outcomes and make data-driven decisions
Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to transform data insights into actionable recommendations. Contributing to discussions on product roadmap, ensuring successful product releases, and ultimately satisfying users
Qualification
Required
Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a closely related field
Ability to work with disparate data sources and create unified solutions
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. A keen eye for identifying trends and patterns in data
Experience creating impactful visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Experience with Power BI is preferred
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and present them to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work with disparate data sources and create unified solutions
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Experience with tools such as SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages to manipulate and analyze large datasets
