Porsche is a renowned automotive company known for its iconic design, particularly the Porsche 911. They are seeking an Operations/Product Development Intern to assist the Operations team and the Product Marketing Manager in project management tasks for Porsche Lifestyle products, collaborating with teams in Germany and the U.S.
Responsibilities
Assist the PMM with the Porsche accessories division with vehicle-inspired lifestyle products, including supplier liaison, quality assurance and compliance requirements of local laws.
Stay apprised of market trends and competitive products.
Work cross-functionally with Porsche internal teams at our Headquarters in Germany.
Assist the PMM with sourcing and liaise with local suppliers.
Process and maintain data vis SAP and prepare Excel presentations.
Assist in ongoing process workflows around Operations and Logistics.
Support the operations team and local marketing team with product launches, brand event activations and retail marketing initiatives to raise overall brand awareness.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Bachelors/Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Business Administration
Minimum 2 years of comprehensive relevant education, and or, experience in product management or related field within the retail/apparel/luxury industry.
Good understanding of consumer trends and lifestyle pop culture.
People oriented, team player that can build strong partnerships across all channels.
Creative and strategic minded with strong executional abilities and a can-do attitude.
Ability to solve advanced problems and trouble-shoot complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Excellent IT user skills, including Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Independent work style, self-starter, extremely organized and structured
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Easily adapts to changing scenarios
Ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and internal/external partner.
Preferred
Preferably previous internship/work experience in Marketing and or Operations/Logistics
German language – a plus but not required.
