Advance Auto Parts is a recognized leader in the automotive aftermarket industry, and they are seeking an IT Product Intern to support their product team. This internship will provide hands-on experience in building, improving, and launching products, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assist product managers with defining product requirements, writing user stories, and maintaining documentation
Conduct user and market research to help identify customer needs, trends, and competitive insights
Support product roadmap development, feature prioritization, and backlog grooming
Analyze user data and product performance metrics to uncover insights and recommendations
Collaborate with designers to explore UX/UI improvements and participate in usability testing
Participate in sprint activities, including planning, stand-ups, and review sessions
Help test new features, collect feedback, and ensure product quality before release
Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for cross-team communication
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Design, or a related field
Rising or Current Senior at the time of application (Expected Graduation between December 2026 – May 2027)
Strong interest in product management, technology, and user experience
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for ANY employer
Preferred
Familiarity with tools such as Figma, Jira, Notion, Excel/Sheets, or analytics tools is a plus
Curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn
