Gilbarco Veeder-Root is hiring a Product Strategy Intern to support product and portfolio strategy for Asset Management & Aftermarket. The role focuses on researching growth opportunities, analyzing portfolio and business performance, and developing recommendations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Support product and portfolio strategy for Asset Management & Aftermarket, with emphasis on connected assets, recurring software, parts, and service growth
Conduct market, customer, competitor, and technology research to identify attractive growth opportunities
Analyze portfolio performance, customer value, pricing, market size, and business-case economics using internal and external data
Translate findings into clear recommendations, executive-ready presentations, and decision-oriented pre-reads
Collaborate with Product, Commercial, Customer Success, Finance, Technology, and regional teams to validate assumptions and advance recommendations
Qualification
Required
Current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business, strategy, economics, finance, engineering, data analytics, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into concise, actionable insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to executive-level storytelling
Curiosity about industrial technology, SaaS, IoT, aftermarket services, or convenience retail
Ability to work collaboratively across functions, manage ambiguity, and independently drive a defined workstream
