GM Financial is the wholly owned captive finance subsidiary of General Motors, headquartered in Fort Worth, U.S. They are seeking an Intern for Pricing Analytics & Product Development to support data management, analysis, and reporting related to pricing initiatives and dealer incentives.
Responsibilities
Support Pricing department data management, analysis, and reporting for all North American loan and/or lease products.
Support subvention partner invoicing process and data management (program, collateral, and credit data).
Gather and analyze data to determine impact to business operations.
Conduct ad hoc research projects incorporating project design, data collection and analysis, summarization of findings, and presentation of results.
Qualification
Required
Must be a current student pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Finance, Accounting, Decision Science, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related with at least one semester remaining upon start of the internship.
Must possess a minimum of a 3.0 (out of a 4-point scale) overall GPA.
Strong written and verbal communication skills required. This incumbent will be required to give presentations and communicate with business leaders.
Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving, and conceptual skills required.
Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work independently or in a team setting.
Preferred
Rising Senior or Master's classification preferred.
Previous internships are considered a plus.
