They are seeking an eCommerce Product Management Intern to support the development and improvement of eCommerce features, conduct market research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the online shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Work alongside the product management team to enhance the online shopping experience for HP.com customers by supporting the development and improvement of eCommerce features.
Assist in managing the software development lifecycle for new eCommerce functionalities, including defining requirements, tracking progress, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Conduct market and customer research to identify trends, customer needs, and pain points to help guide product strategy and improve user experience.
Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features that align with customer needs and business goals.
Collaborate with the development, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless implementation of product features and enhancements.
Assist in A/B testing, tracking KPIs, and analyzing product performance to make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Participate in sprint planning meetings, product reviews, and retrospectives to contribute to an Agile development process.
Help monitor and troubleshoot product issues, ensuring that customer-facing features remain functional and aligned with expectations.
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a four-year college and returning to school following the internship.
Basic understanding of software product management and eCommerce systems.
Proficiency with project management tools
Strong interest in software development and product management for digital platforms.
Good problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred
Experience with data analysis and tools like Google Analytics or similar.
Understanding of software development processes and tools
Understanding of customer experience (CX) best practices for online shopping.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development concepts.
Passion for continuous learning and staying current on trends in product management, eCommerce, and technology.
