AAA Auto Club Enterprises is the largest club within the national AAA federation, seeking a Digital Travel Product Intern to join their Digital Acceleration Team. The intern will assist in creating and delivering digital solutions while acting as an internal Data Consultant to bridge gaps between various teams and understand how digital tactics drive sales.
Responsibilities
Work with existing data across disparate sources (Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, Big Data Lake, and Travel Booking SOR) to identify how users move from digital touchpoints—like offer cards—to a final booking
Partner cross-functionally with the Big Data, Travel IS, and Digital Marketing teams to navigate data structures and extract meaningful insights
Design and develop a sophisticated Tableau dashboard that provides a 360-degree view of travel performance, designed for both the Digital Product Team and Executive Leadership
Translate complex technical metrics and attribution gaps into clear, actionable stories that help the team determine which tactics are truly impacting the business
Help the team bridge the gap between digital engagement and offline sales completed through travel agents or white-label OTA links
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, or a related STEM field (3rd or 4th-year students preferred)
High proficiency in Tableau is a must
Experience writing SQL queries and working with large data sets
You don't just report numbers; you look for the 'Why?' behind the data and have a problem-solver mentality
Solid communication and relationship-building skills; you must be comfortable 'consulting' with various technical teams to gather necessary information
Competency in MS Office Suite is required
Minimum GPA: 3.3
Preferred
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Slack
