Lenovo is a global technology powerhouse focused on delivering Smarter Technology for All. They are seeking a Workstations Marketing Intern to analyze market insights, conduct competitive teardowns, and perform content audits to support the marketing and product teams.
Responsibilities
Build a rolling 'outside-in' pulse across AEC, ME, Manufacturing, HCLS, and Data Science segments—synthesize trends from analyst notes, social listening, forums, and partner channels into clear, actionable briefs for Workstation marketing and product teams
Create structured teardowns of 3–5 priority competitors (positioning, pricing cues, hero claims, proof assets, benchmarks, and attach motions)
Maintain a message-claim matrix with evidence links and 'counter-positioning' guidance for campaigns and sales
Inventory our priority workstation content across the buyer journey (awareness → consideration → decision → adoption), score quality and performance, map to personas and verticals, and identify gaps where thought leadership or proof is missing
Deliver a prioritized 'fix/keep/retire/create' plan
Package insights into crisp storytelling for weekly stand-ups and exec reviews; translate findings into enablement snippets for campaign, content, and field teams (one-pagers, talk-tracks, and slides)
Keep your data sources cited and dashboards current; document assumptions, methodology, and next actions so work is reusable after the internship
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's in marketing, business, data/analytics, communications, Information Technology or related field
Demonstrated strength in research and analysis —turning scattered data into concise insights and recommendations
Working knowledge of competitive analysis methods
Proficiency with Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint; familiarity with dashboards or BI tools is a plus
Curiosity about pro‑creator/engineer workflows and how hardware + ISV ecosystems (graphics, rendering, simulation, AI) come together to solve real problems
