Responsibilities
Support Webster’s Content Management Efforts: Opportunity to participate on the ground level in helping the Webster Bank corporate communications team members create and implement a content (comms, visuals, social media, etc.) management system that will build employee engagement, boost efficiency and bolster company-wide organization
Specifically, work closely to build out the project management tool to organize our corporate content
Work on messaging and visuals that become the brand of the company from the top of the house
Learn how technology can help facilitate the exchange of information and ensure it is consistent and timely
Support Webster’s Brand and Reputation Health Report: Another new and exciting program that where the candidate with gather insights, organize data, and contribute to both qualitative and quantitative analysis of Webster’s reputation. This work offers exposure to how brand perceptions are measured, interpreted, and used to inform communications and business strategy
Tasks include:
Assist with gathering insights, organizing data, and contributing to qualitative and quantitative analysis
Help identify trends and themes that inform how the brand is perceived in the market
Assist with Webster’s Corporate Archives: This position will also support Webster’s corporate archives through cataloging and digitizing historical materials that preserve the company’s 90-year legacy. Through this archival work, you will learn practical skills in documentation, digital preservation, and research methods, gaining a deeper understanding of how historical assets support storytelling and institutional knowledge
Tasks can include:
Catalog, organize, and digitize historical materials that document the company’s 90-year legacy
Help maintain and enhance archival systems to improve long term accessibility
What You’ll Learn: Gain hands-on experience in brand analytics, data storytelling, and communications strategy
Develop practical skills in archival management, documentation, and digital preservation
Build a strong foundation in research, organization, and cross-functional collaboration
Qualification
Required
Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry
Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive
Highly organized
Demonstrated strong attention to detail
Experience creating and delivering presentations
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
Strong analytical skills
Collaborative and inclusive team player
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
