They are seeking a motivated Communications Summer Intern to support internal and external communications projects, offering hands-on experience in content creation and collaboration with various professionals across the organization.
Responsibilities
Write, edit, and proofread copy for the intranet, newsletters, emails, and LinkedIn
Support creation of graphics, presentations, videos and other content as required
Assist with the social content calendar and post scheduling
Contribute to internal articles on the intranet
Support any site-specific communications
Support the management of event tasks, particularly in the build-up to the Farnborough Air Show, including, content, logistics, and messaging
Ensure compliance with brand, legal, and confidentiality requirements
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing or have recently completed a bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field
Experience with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a solid understanding of grammar and exceptional attention to detail
A proactive communicator with a growth mindset
Able to communicate effectively and collaborate with team members at all levels and incorporate feedback constructively
Passionate about learning how strategic communications supports business strategy, culture, and brand reputation
Energized by turning complex ideas into clear, compelling stories
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and deadlines
Curiosity about aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, sustainability, and innovation
