The Strategic Communications Intern will provide internal and external communications support for the Navy Service Management, Integration and Transport (SMIT) program, helping to create engaging content and support the program’s communication strategies.
Responsibilities
Works with the communications director to create communications material for multiple audiences through all forms online and offline.
Gathers and synthesizes information to create dynamic content
Supports the program’s social media and digital content strategies
Qualification
Required
Working toward a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Communications and/or Marketing) with graduation after August 2025
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Some experience with Microsoft Office tools/programs, especially Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
Creativity and comfort utilizing technology for communications including digital and video communication.
Self-starter with ability to anticipate needs and next steps without prompting.
