Johnson & Johnson develops medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods. The Strategic Communications and Amplification Intern role focuses on developing a comprehensive communication strategy to amplify the impact of Scientific Partnerships & Population Health initiatives.
Responsibilities
Design a comprehensive communication plan for SPPH that aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
Identify key messaging themes and strategic objectives to elevate awareness of SPPH’s contributions internally and externally.
Develop and publish engaging articles for the company homepage, newsletters, and other internal platforms to showcase SPPH’s achievements.
Explore and lead podcast opportunities to highlight SPPH leaders, projects, and impactful stories.
Collaborate with marketing and public affairs teams to identify and implement amplification opportunities across multiple channels.
Partner with leaders and teams within SPPH to capture compelling stories, data, and insights for amplification.
Produce high-quality content tailored to diverse audiences, including employees, collaborators, and external partners.
Define and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency of communication efforts.
Qualification
Required
Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited University for the duration of the internship assignment pursuing a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree, Master’s, or PhD degree or equivalent experience.
Enthusiastic about communication
Have experience in storytelling or marketing.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Have familiarity with the pharma and healthcare sector
