State Street is a global leader in financial services, and they are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Marketing Intern. This role involves supporting the Product and Distribution teams by developing marketing materials, assisting in market positioning, and contributing to various marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Assist in developing and updating marketing materials, product one pagers, pitch decks, and other sales collateral
Support the creation of product positioning content that clearly articulates value propositions
Help maintain a central repository of marketing and sales materials to ensure consistency and accuracy
Gather data, product updates, and competitive information to keep collateral current and aligned with market needs
Assist in producing and editing video content for marketing materials and presentations to enhance product storytelling and sales engagement
Contribute to market research projects that inform messaging, positioning, and competitive insights
Help synthesize research findings into simple written summaries or visual formats
Support analysis of target customer segments and distribution channels
Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance messaging effectiveness and market differentiation
Help organize tasks and manage deadlines across marketing and product initiatives
Assist with updating project trackers, shared documents, and internal communication materials
Support meeting coordination by preparing agendas, capturing notes, and tracking action items
Collaborate across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to support cross functional workflows
Contribute to the preparation of internal updates, summaries, and project reports
Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations for both internal and external audiences
Support the assembly of simple dashboards or data summaries used in marketing and sales discussions
Provide day-to-day assistance on marketing, sales enablement, or product administration tasks
Participate in training, shadowing sessions, and team workshops to build foundational skills
Support business analysts in capturing requirements or drafting basic inputs for product related documentation
Help develop materials and provide support for conference participation including conference collateral and post-event summaries
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field
Strong interest in financial services, product marketing, investment strategy, or distribution
Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize information and communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats
Self starter with a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn
Comfort with data, research, and basic analysis with advanced PowerPoint skills; experience in video production, editing and storyboarding viewed favorably
