FranklinCovey is a leading leadership development company, and they are seeking a Social Media & Podcast Intern to support their social media presence and podcast initiatives. The intern will assist in content publishing, campaign support, and podcast coordination, focusing on engaging educators and administrators while gaining valuable experience in B2B marketing and media production.
Responsibilities
Assist in publishing and scheduling social media content using platforms such as Sprout Social (or similar tools)
Support the creation and maintenance of B2B-focused social media content calendars aligned with campaign priorities and audience needs (educators, administrators, district leaders)
Draft basic social media copy tailored to professional audiences for review and approval
Assist with inbox by identifying FAQs, drafting and obtaining approvals to operationalize response
Support employee advocacy efforts by preparing and distributing shareable, brand-aligned content for internal stakeholders
Assist with basic design needs using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
Assist in identifying and researching potential podcast guests aligned with brand, thought leadership, and audience priorities
Support outreach, recruitment, booking, and scheduling of podcast guests
Coordinate guest communications, including sharing recording instructions, expectations, and timelines
Help manage podcast production workflows, including organizing assets and supporting coordination with internal teams and external vendors
Assist in promoting podcast episodes across social channels to drive awareness and engagement
Help track and organize basic social media and podcast performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth)
Support compilation of monthly, quarterly, or campaign reports
Assist with general project coordination across multiple marketing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
Preferred
Strong interest in B2B marketing, social media, content creation, and/or podcasting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a remote environment
Familiarity with major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social)
Basic design or video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.)
Interest in education, leadership development, or storytelling
