They are seeking a Segment Marketing Summer Intern to assist the Global Segment Marketing team with sales initiatives, project management, and market analysis, while supporting the execution of integrated marketing plans.
Responsibilities
Support sales initiatives: Assist the Global Segment Marketing team in building sales tools and resources, building tracking and reporting of activity and results, and following up on key project tasks
Support project management best practices: Review the Segment Marketing team’s project management boards in Monday.com to implement layout consistency, offer suggestions for improvement, and follow-up with team members on use of the tool
Assist with sales tool creation: Partner with Segment Marketing leads on the development of segment-specific sales tools to drive targeted sales team activity. Audit sales tools across the wider Sherwin-Williams organization to identify opportunities to leverage similar assets in the Automotive Division
Capture industry and competitive insight: Assist the Segment Marketing team in reviewing available competitor information, industry publications, and PCG research reports. Compile key details in a digestible format
Support voice of customer research: Partner with Segment Marketing leadership and PCG Research to develop a voice of customer framework and easily accessible repository of insights
Analyze Business and Financial Data: Partner with Finance to build impactful reporting templates to support strategic decision-making and performance tracking. Provide insight to Segment Marketing leads on where to find the reports and gather insight on additional reporting needs
Assist with the execution of integrated marketing plans: Support annual marketing goals and objectives through cross-functional engagement and identify opportunities to contribute on key projects
Qualification
Required
Availability to work Monday – Friday during summer months
Availability to work as close to 37.5 hours per week as possible during summer months
Strong Microsoft Office suite experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Minimum high school education or equivalent
Current college student pursing degree in Marketing or related field
Current college student at the junior, senior or grad school level
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to learn new tasks, work independently and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills to manage projects with multiple internal departments and external vendors
Preferred
Minimum 3.0 GPA strongly preferred
Expected graduation date of Winter 2026 or anytime 2027
