The Walt Disney Company is a renowned entertainment company known for its storytelling and innovative technology. They are seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support their Growth Marketing team in driving subscriber acquisition and optimizing performance marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities
Support post-production workflows, ensuring seamless integration of visual and audio elements.
Create basic motion graphics like lower thirds, on-screen text and emojis, utilizing pre-created templates and graphic assets
Collaborate with marketing and creative leads to refine messaging and branding elements within video projects.
Opportunity to support in liaising with influencers for onboarding, content creation and relationship management
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams like brand, legal, and strategy for campaign approvals and coordination.
Responsible for the collection, storage, and distribution of marketing assets such as images and videos across multiple databases
Work closely with other Paid Media marketing teams to help coordinate asset deliveries and campaign launches
Learn how to track, monitor and report on campaign performance against key KPIs across social channels.
Conduct market research to stay up to date with best practices and emerging trends.
Qualification
Required
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, After Effects, Photoshop)
A storytelling ability, with a sense of pacing, structure, and brand tone
Some experience working with social & digital marketing specs, including different aspect ratios and platform-specific formats
Technical proficiency in media ingest, color correction, keying, sound mixing, and motion graphics
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with various stakeholders
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Fully available from Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST for the duration of the internship, 40 hours each week
Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Preferred
Prior internship experience in film, social media, publicity, marketing, or other related fields preferred
Relevant coursework in Publicity, Advertising, Marketing, Film and/or Communications
Knowledge and interest in Searchlight Pictures are a plus
