SAP provides enterprise application software to various industries, including consumer, discrete manufacturing, and public services. The Customer Marketing Intern will work closely with marketing managers to support and optimize key marketing initiatives aimed at engaging and retaining SMB customers, contributing to campaigns, reporting, and advocacy efforts.
Responsibilities
Assist in the execution of customer marketing campaigns, including email nurtures and customer webinars.
Help manage logistics and deliverables for webinars, such as speaker coordination, audience engagement tactics, and follow-up communications.
Contribute to the maintenance and updates of customer campaign calendars and content plans
Contribute to monthly performance reporting, helping to track key metrics such as email engagement, webinar attendance, and campaign ROI.
Help maintain and organize the team’s SharePoint page, ensuring materials are up-to-date and accessible to cross-functional stakeholders.
Assist in building enablement materials, such as campaign summaries and performance insights, for internal sharing and alignment
Provide project management support for the SMB advocacy and customer reference program, including tracking participant onboarding, content deliverables (e.g., case studies, testimonials), and program expansion efforts.
Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales teams to identify potential customer advocates and support the referral process into advocacy channels.
Help coordinate internal communications to ensure alignment on advocacy efforts and success stories that can be leveraged across campaigns.
By supporting the timely execution of campaigns and webinars, the intern helps to support consistent customer touchpoints that deliver value and reinforce product benefits—directly supporting retention and upsell strategies.
Accurate, timely reporting improves decision-making and campaign effectiveness, while a well-maintained SharePoint and stakeholder resources enhance cross-functional alignment and speed to market.
Strengthening the customer advocacy pipeline increases SAP Concur’s ability to showcase satisfied clients, which supports sales enablement and brand trust—ultimately accelerating new business and reinforcing loyalty among current customers.
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Masters degree in a related field. Graduating Seniors/2nd Year Masters highly desirable.
Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
Someone who takes initiative, perseveres, knows how to overcome rejection, and stays curious.
Ability to work on meaningful innovative projects and energized by lifelong learning.
Preferred
Previous internships or work experience during college pertaining to marketing would be ideal.
