Staples is seeking a Quill Writer and Social Media Intern to join their Creative Team. The role involves crafting compelling social media content, engaging with the community, and collaborating on creative projects to enhance the Quill brand's presence online.
Responsibilities
Learning the Quill brand: Building an understanding of the Quill brand voice and Quill brand social media strategy
Writing: Crafting clear, compelling copy for social media posts, balancing writing for the medium of social media with writing for the voice of the brand
Community management: Responding to comments, do community outreach, foster relationships with current and potential customers
Trend research: Helping identify trending moments and learn when to apply them to a brand or when to walk away
Content creation: Helping capture photos and videos that will be used in social content
Concepting: Participating in creative meetings and contributing ideas for campaign concepts
Helping execute campaigns: Being a part of bringing company campaigns to life in a social-first way
Content planning: Assisting with editorial calendar management
Collaborating: Working with the team, taking and giving feedback, to ensure the best creative output
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, Creative Writing, or other related field
Must be enrolled as a full-time student carrying a minimum of 12 college credits
Must be a rising senior graduating in May 2027 or later
Strong portfolio or samples of work demonstrating creative thinking, advanced writing skills, and proficiency in digital mediums
Preferred
Any experience with WordPress, Hootsuite, or Figma is a plus
