Responsibilities
Adherence to a weekly schedule
Writing and editing press releases and media alerts
Pitching media
Monitoring placements
Preparing press briefings
Media relations
Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Research and information gathering
Media spokesperson training
Utilizing social media venues (blogs, tweets, etc.)
Day-to-day responsibilities as needed, including administrative duties.
Qualification
Required
Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
