HARMAN International is a global leader in connected technologies, and they are seeking a Parttime Intern to support their MARTIN brand in strengthening relationships with the lighting design community. The role involves compiling a database of lighting designers, organizing events, and assisting in marketing initiatives to enhance engagement with the design community.

Responsibilities

Compile a comprehensive list of lighting designers segmented by market vertical (Touring, Theater, Architainment, House of Worship, Broadcast, Themed Entertainment)
Gather detailed profiles for each designer, including project history, specialties, and current engagements
Maintain and update this information in the CRM for easy access by the sales team
Assist in planning and executing monthly Martin Social events in LA, NYC, and Nashville
Identify projects for behind-the-scenes presentations during events
Collaborate with the marketing team to create social media stories featuring Martin products in designer projects
Ensure event activities and engagement metrics are documented in the CRM
Help the sales team stay informed about designers’ upcoming tours, installations, and activations
Contribute ideas to enhance the flywheel of regular engagement between MARTIN and the LD community

Qualification

Required

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Sophomore year or later, or graduate/Ph. D program at an accredited institution taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field
Strong research and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Familiarity with CRM tools and social media platforms
Be willing to work in an office in Northridge, CA. (HYBRID)
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
Must provide own housing and transportation to/from work
Must provide proper work authorization
Must provide work availability for 20 weeks and be able to work 20 hours per week
