Oncology GI Marketing Intern

The Oncology GI Marketing Intern will support strategic brand planning, promotional activities, data analysis, cross-functional projects, sales initiatives, medical conference coordination, and team engagement programs across the GI Oncology Franchise.

Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic and tactical brand planning processes across the GI Oncology Franchise
  • Partner closely with the marketing and cross-functional teams to support key 2027 priorities across the GI Oncology Franchise, including MATTERHORN commercialization, expanded digital engagement in BTC, development of a new uHCC plan, and CLARITY-related initiatives based on evolving business needs
  • Working closely with marketing colleagues in the development and execution of promotional materials and activities
  • Support the cross-functional team to deliver key projects by gathering and analyzing data, contributing in meetings and executing various tasks
  • Creatively and analytically develop solutions to issues as identified with a strong focus on simplification initiatives
  • Working with the marketing and cross-functional brand team to develop competitive benchmarking and conducting clinical reviews of comparative products
  • Support in sales meeting development, workshop execution, and training initiatives
  • Leading the coordination of the AstraZeneca Oncology presence at National and International medical conferences, including working with Medical, Diagnostics, Sales, Access and Marketing to ensure a coordinated plan
  • Serving as a key liaison between the sales team and the head office Marketing team to bring insights into action
  • Support GI team culture and engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, belonging and team identity, including pulse checks, internal communications, recognition activities and other culture-building programs

Qualification

Required

  • University Degree or Higher in relevant field (Business, Science)
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills; solutions oriented
  • Ability to participate in collaborative teamwork
  • Strong communication skills: writing and presentation
  • Self-starter, initiative, ability to work in dynamic environments
  • Ability to have fun and not take themselves too seriously!
  • Available to work from January 2027 to December 2027
