The Oncology GI Marketing Intern will support strategic brand planning, promotional activities, data analysis, cross-functional projects, sales initiatives, medical conference coordination, and team engagement programs across the GI Oncology Franchise.
Responsibilities
Support the strategic and tactical brand planning processes across the GI Oncology Franchise
Partner closely with the marketing and cross-functional teams to support key 2027 priorities across the GI Oncology Franchise, including MATTERHORN commercialization, expanded digital engagement in BTC, development of a new uHCC plan, and CLARITY-related initiatives based on evolving business needs
Working closely with marketing colleagues in the development and execution of promotional materials and activities
Support the cross-functional team to deliver key projects by gathering and analyzing data, contributing in meetings and executing various tasks
Creatively and analytically develop solutions to issues as identified with a strong focus on simplification initiatives
Working with the marketing and cross-functional brand team to develop competitive benchmarking and conducting clinical reviews of comparative products
Support in sales meeting development, workshop execution, and training initiatives
Leading the coordination of the AstraZeneca Oncology presence at National and International medical conferences, including working with Medical, Diagnostics, Sales, Access and Marketing to ensure a coordinated plan
Serving as a key liaison between the sales team and the head office Marketing team to bring insights into action
Support GI team culture and engagement initiatives that strengthen connection, belonging and team identity, including pulse checks, internal communications, recognition activities and other culture-building programs
Qualification
Required
University Degree or Higher in relevant field (Business, Science)
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong Problem Solving and analytical skills; solutions oriented
Ability to participate in collaborative teamwork
Strong communication skills: writing and presentation
Self-starter, initiative, ability to work in dynamic environments
Ability to have fun and not take themselves too seriously!
