Snap-on is a company focused on providing innovative solutions for the automotive industry. They are seeking a Marketing Intern to support digital and analytics marketing efforts, coordinate marketing communications, and assist with various projects that align with sales strategies.
Responsibilities
Coordinates, develops and implements marketing communications and projects that support the sales strategies and goals of all sales channels and products. This includes brochures and other marketing collateral, direct mail, promotional e-mails, internal newsletters, white papers, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, online content, multi-media presentations, etc
Works with a wide range of internal clients to identify marketing communications needs and make appropriate strategic and tactical recommendations
Maintains adequate supplies of marketing collateral
Ensures the accuracy of all assigned internal and external communications projects
Develops support tools and communications for the inside and outside sales teams
Assists with the organization of graphic applications and presentations
Maintains the integrity of the Snap-on brand by ensuring consistent messaging and branding in all communications and sales promotion materials, in keeping with corporate standards and positioning
Interacts with outside agencies and suppliers
Ensures all projects meet given timelines
Works on additional marketing, graphics, and social media projects as required
Qualification
Required
College Junior / Senior with some experience in marketing or sales fields
Working towards a Bachelors in Computer Graphics-Creative Arts, Communications, Journalism, or related field required
Knowledge of graphics applications like PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator and/or PhotoShop
Proficient in Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, CRM tools, and content management systems (CMS)
Proficient in UI/UX; Adobe Creative Cloud; Video editing; Digital Marketing and Analytics
Ability to create and manage content for social media, email, and other digital platforms
Support and assist in the execution of marketing campaigns
Work with team members supporting initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential
Well-developed planning, prioritization and organizational skills; the ability to work independently or with little or no supervision
Results oriented with an ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Preferred
Automotive or technology services background a plus
