Parker Hannifin is a diversified manufacturer of motion, and they are seeking a Marketing Intern. The role involves serving customers by providing product and service information, resolving issues, and supporting various marketing and sales activities.
Responsibilities
Develop and create product-based marketing collateral to support Sales team customer engagement
Refresh current marketing/promotional material
Support development of Sales presentation and product demonstration material for product promotional activity
Assist with completion of customer/product capture plans
Collect and analyze historical sales and bookings data to understand sales activity by customer, product, region and segments
Utilize sales and bookings data to develop and interpret trend analysis
Develop sales and booking reports to identify actual performance versus forecast at the product, platform and customer levels
Review CRM (Salesforce) funnel management and assist Sales team in maintaining opportunities in current state
Conduct market segmentation utilizing installed fleet database and present to territory sales managers
Develop installed product data base by platform.
Other responsibilities as assigned
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of study towards undergraduate Marketing or similar degree required.

None required certifications.
Work between 12 and 30 hours per week depending on school schedule and school commitments.
Capable of resolving customer issues, interpreting customer order requirements and translating to company capabilities.
Experience with high telephone usage and proper telephone etiquette.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook a must.
Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of Customer organization.
Outstanding interpersonal skills; positive attitude and outlook.
Flexible, open-minded listener / learner.
Excellent Communicator (verbal and written) / strong team player; ability to work on cross functional teams.
Analytical, fact-based problem solver.

Preferred
Experience in, or ability to decipher contracts, regulations, and procedures; previous experience with contract administration is preferred.
Knowledge of FAA, FAR, DFAR, (Federal Aviation Administration / Federal Acquisition Regulation / Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation) preferred.
Web-based applications and system administration experience; direct Customer portal experience preferred.
