NFP, an Aon company, is one of the largest brokerage general agencies in the United States specializing in life insurance. The Marketing Intern will be responsible for various communications functions and projects, including media relations, writing, and marketing communications.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the overall success and profitability of the agency
Create, Design and Maintain Marketing Collateral to support overall branding and corporate identity initiatives. Includes, but is not limited to field communication, zone email marketing, paper collateral, and other initiatives as necessary
Maintain DBS style rules and update content as directed for company communication and documents
Create and maintain marketing videos, educational PowerPoints, and other technology platforms as necessary to maintain variety of marketing mediums
Provide meeting planning and support for local, regional, and national meetings and conferences
Collaborate with and assist other departments and fulfill requests for documents or technology needs
Update website as needed and provide design assistance with development of new content and features
Support carrier and industry campaigns through multiple channels
Promote DBS company culture & DBS internal culture
Assist with Employee Recognition initiatives
Maintain Social Media Presence to improve social media reputation and recognition
Assist AVP, Marketing as needed on all related projects and tasks
Qualification
Required
Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Fluency in English
Working toward a BA/BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, News Media or Public Relations or related field
