Granite Construction is a construction company that specializes in transportation, mining, power, and tunneling. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Media Intern to work with the MarCom team, responsible for creating engaging video and photo content that showcases the company's projects and team members.
Responsibilities
Creating stories using video, photo, and text animation elements that accurately inform, entertain, and engage our audience through the selection and implementation of visual effects, audio, and music.
Experience in shooting, editing, and producing high-quality videos and photos is a must.
Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 and After Effects. Knowledge of Photoshop and Lightroom is a plus.
Familiarity with AI tools and techniques for video, audio, and photo editing
Must enjoy working collaboratively and accurately; attention to detail is critical.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, as well as with other stakeholders.
Take safety training, apply safe work practices, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Willing to travel locally to active job sites in a personal vehicle.
Uploading images and adding accompanying metadata into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
Motion Graphics knowledge and proficiency creating branded titles is a plus
MS365; Web proficiency.
Qualification
Required
Currently majoring in film, photography, marketing and communications, or journalism (or a related field) at an accredited 4-year college or university – or a recent graduate in same
Experience in shooting, editing, and producing high-quality videos and photos is a must
Solid experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 and After Effects

Preferred
