The Intern, Product Marketing, will support the Product Manager in executing marketing activities for a jewelry collection, assisting in product development, pricing analysis, and cross-functional communication to drive business objectives.
Responsibilities
Supports the creation and maintenance of product calendars and mappings throughout various stages of development, ensuring accuracy of item detail
Ensures that product details within category architectures are systematically maintained and milestones are tracked appropriately
Assists with research, analysis of product offerings and recommendations to inform new product development and understands what that entails in order to propose his own ideas
Analyzes classification, price point, and sales trends to inform decisions on product introductions
Assists with the execution and implementation of margin reviews and pricing strategies
Supports the team in efforts to conduct analysis and gather comparable product information to inform pricing and margin targets
Supports manager with model pricing scenarios and validating pricing based on sales volume and margin drivers
Assists with recommendations, execution and implementation of lifecycle planning reviews
Supports the development of reports and presentations regarding collections and trends, with accurate knowledge of it all, as well as new product introductions and product follow-ups
Effectively follows the project all along, providing valuable intel to implement his follow up work effectively
Assists in maintaining the various architectures, sales, and sales reports and presentations as needed
Supports communication efforts with internal teams, with strong data to get the right message across
Help provide information about the product at large and its target audience, and know what’s happening on his portfolio
Get connected with Sales Merch, Retail, stores and be on the lookout on all there is in order to be at the height of the new trends
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
Strong curiosity and knowledge of jewelry and fashion industry
General knowledge of jewelry design, materials, and manufacturing processes are well received
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Great communication and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a high-level working team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred
Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) software
